The World Heritage Sea Route is a direct ferry line connecting Peace Park and Miyajima. It passes through Hiroshima’s rivers — the Honkawa and Motoyasu rivers — and then continues into Hiroshima Bay. While cruising along the rivers, the ship moves at a slow, relaxed pace, allowing passengers to enjoy the cityscape of Hiroshima up close. When conditions permit, you can step out onto the deck to take in the riverside scenery, pass under bridges, and wave to people walking along the riverbanks. Once the ship reaches the sea, it speeds up and heads straight to its destination.
The Package Ticket provides a convenient and cost-effective way to travel between Peace Memorial Park, Miyajima, and Miyajimaguchi.

- The sailing route may change depending on the actual tide levels. (Arrival times will not be affected).
Regarding cancellations caused by tide levels.
"The World Heritage Sea Route passes along a river that is affected by tidal changes." If the tide is too high, the ship can't pass under the bridge, and if it is too low, the ship may touch the riverbed. For these reasons, service cancellations and route changes may occur (FYI, the Motoyasu route does not pass by the Atomic Bomb Dome.) When your travel dates are confirmed, don't forget to check the sailing schedule to find the available sailings for that day.

Motoyasu Pier (to Miyajima)
It is located 150 meters south of the Atomic Bomb Dome, at the foot of Motoyasu Bridge. Please check in at the ticket office inside the pier.

2 Go down the stairs in front of the cafe.
3 There are about eight steps.
4 Go down the stairs to reach the ticket office.

Miyajima Ticket Office (to Peace Park / to Miyajimaguchi)
The ship departs from Miyajima No. 3 Pier, located at the far end as you walk from Itsukushima Shrine toward the ferry terminal. Please check in at the ticket counter near the pier. For safety reasons, do not enter the pier until instructed by staff.
